Our friends over at Joshua Tree Picnic offer pop up picnics and movie nights to locals and guests in the Joshua Tree area, and we’re excited to announce Posy Laboratory will supply live florals as an add-on service!

Not only do I love the idea of providing these unique services for the community and its visitors, they are sustainable services as well! Joshua Tree Picnic rents out the items which is a great example of conscious consumption: Instead of every local home and rental property buying these individual items on their own, Joshua Tree Picnic takes care of all that. Plus these items get reused – well maybe not the snacks! – or recycled.
And the sustainability doesn’t stop there. Joshua Tree Picnic works will local businesses to provide add-on services and products. Posy Laboratory is proud to be their go-to floral designer to provide centerpieces and custom options for gatherings. You can choose to keep the arrangements or return them for reuse and composting. We also offer on-site workshops for an extra activity to your group or special date.
Other local businesses offering add-ons are wine from Joshua Tree Bottle Shop, cake and cupcake options from Joshua Tree Cakery, and cookies from Desert Baked.
Picnic details
Joshua Tree Picnic will set up all the necessities for a fun, magical desert picnic including low tables, pillows or cushions, rug or picnic blanket, decor, recyclable plates, napkins, flatware, drink ware, water, flavored sparkling water, and a bluetooth speaker. In chilly weather, they’ll literally have you covered with throw blankets. And for those days when the sun is a bit too intense, they’ll have an umbrella. After two hours, they’ll come and clean it up!
Movie night details

For movie nights, enjoy a big screen movie under the stars with all the details covered. Included in set up are floor pillows, rug or picnic blankets, assorted movie snacks, popcorn, box water or sparkling water, 100-inch screen with a projector, JBL Speaker, HDMI Cord, Amazon Fire TV Stick (will connect to on-site WiFi). Again, cleaning up is a breeze when they take care of all that!
Food or alcohol are not included in the main packages but are offered as add-ons mentioned above. Joshua Tree Picnic serves Joshua Tree, Yucca Valley, 29 Palms, Landers, Morongo Valley, Pioneertown, and the whole hi desert area.
