wreath care

Your wreath is made to order. That means we've done our best to give you the freshest cut of greens. Normal drying will occur, especially in our desert due to the heat, sun, and (typically) low humidity. Enjoy this natural process and evolution of your wreath's look as it dries. However, there are a few steps you can take to help make your wreath last longer.

Hang it where it's going to be the coolest.

So, if we're expecting cooler temperatures outside than your cozy indoors, hang it outside.

But avoid that direct sun!

You can mist your wreath daily.

Do this from the back where the cut ends are more reachable. A spray water bottle on the mist setting works.

Other Care Tips:

Your wreath may have berries.

They will occasionally drop off. Please keep these away from children and pets!

A small amount of shedding of pine needles, leaves, and other plant matter is normal.

If you don't want a little mess inside, hang your wreath outdoors. As the weeks pass, more shedding will occur.

As you know, our desert critter friends absolutely love plants – especially greens!

Try your best to protect your luscious green "snack" wreath from them, if you hang it outside.

Sustainability Tips:

All of the plant materials used can be composted.

The materials are wired together and to the wreath ring. Be sure to remove the wire before composting. If you have a use for it, you can repurpose the wire.

Save the wreath ring for a DIY project – or contact us and we'll pick it up to reuse for another beautiful wreath!

The tissue paper that may have been used to wrap and protect your wreath during transport is recyclable. The hemp twine around the tissue paper is compostable.
