share the joy program – giving your flowers a second life

A beautiful event doesn’t have to end when the last guest leaves. Through our Share The Joy program, your flowers can keep making an impact long after the celebration is over. Instead of being discarded, your arrangements are collected, refreshed, and repurposed for local non-profit organizations that bring beauty and comfort to our community.

We work with Morongo Basin Unity Home, which provides a safe and supportive environment for survivors of domestic violence, and DesertArc, which serves adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Your blooms brighten their offices, community spaces, and common areas creating moments of joy for staff, clients, and visitors. We often hear how much these unexpected floral gifts lift spirits and make spaces feel warmer and more welcoming.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Event Day – Enjoy your floral arrangements as planned for your wedding, party, or special event.

  2. Next Step – After your event, we’ll collect your flowers instead of letting them go to waste.

  3. Second Life – We deliver them to our non-profit partners, where they’re enjoyed for another week or so.

  4. Full Circle – We pick them up again for composting, ensuring every stem is returned to the earth sustainably.

By choosing Share The Joy, you’re extending the life of your flowers, supporting local organizations, and reducing event waste all in one thoughtful gesture. It’s an easy way to make sure the beauty of your day lives on and continues to touch others.

We arrived after Beth + Jerek's wedding to collect the table arrangements and brought them to our partners through our Share The Joy program. This also made things a bit easier for the couple since they were traveling from outside the area and didn’t have to worry about what to do with their florals. This video shows the arrangements on their way to the non-profits!
